A Reminder for Timely Payment of your Monthly Dues, Water, and Other Payments
Issued Thursday, June 20, 2024

All assessments are due on the 1st day of the month and are considered late if not received by the association by the 10th day of the month. After the late date, an administrative late charge of $25.00 per month will be added for any late payment or on any balance of unpaid assessments.

The two safest methods of minimizing the risk of a late fee are to either maintain a prepaid balance in your account, or to utilize the e-payment function on your account through Alliance bank (the association's primary bank).

Regardless of whatever method you utilize for payment of your account balance, it is your responsibility to ensure that payment is processed in a timely basis. Please review your balance periodically (via the portal), especially before the 10th of the month.

Smoke Detectors and Sump Pumps
Issued Sunday, April 3, 2022

• Smoke detectors/CO detectors. Most detectors have a useful life of about 10 years and many of our units (built in 2006+) still have the original smoke detectors installed. At the very least you should test your units to make sure they are still working. If anyone wants to take the lead in developing a program for detector replacement for the community, please reach out for nancy.wollenberg@gmail.com

• Sump pumps. Same as the smoke detectors. If you have an older unit and are still running the sump pump that was originally installed, you are living on borrowed time and should consider replacement. Most of the sump pumps also have a useful life of about 10 years .... many of us are living on borrowed time.

Project Managers Wanted
Issued Friday, January 8, 2021

One of the biggest changes within SSACA last year was the development of the role of PROJECT MANAGERS to assist in completing numerous tasks and projects that are necessary for improving and maintaining our community. The Project Manager will take on a task and take the lead role in seeing the task to completion.

The Board and the Architectural Review Committee see this role as a great opportunity for many members in the community to participate in community activities that they might have a passion about, yet not be burdened with multiple meetings and administrative activities.

These are examples of successful past projects overseen by a community member.

• Painting of the Romanelli & Hughes Units
• Asphalt Repairs
• Roof Repairs and/or Replacements

If you have a passion for this type of activity, you can express your interest by sending an email to admin@CPScolumbus.com or contacting any board member.

It's not limited to just sunsets, rainbows, and holiday lights! It just has to be visually appealing. Send us your photo and we'll consider adding it to our Photo Gallery.
